Hi and Welcome to the Valley SnoDrifters Snowmobile Club Web Page, Our club was organized in 1988 with the purpose of maintaining and grooming a private trail system. By private we mean that no DNR funds are used to maintain them. We hold easements and have insurance for all land owners. Our groomers are three snowmobiles using custom made drags similar to the ones that the DNR uses. We are maintaining approximately 30 miles of trail now and have hopes of adding 25 miles more in the future if we can get enough people to help. All of our help is volunteer. We have one fund raiser per year which is out annual spaghetti dinner held at the Dreamland Hotel, in Bootjack Michigan. The date the dinner is usually one of the first three Saturday's in February. If you are in the area during that time, we would love to see you and fill you up with a spaghetti dinner! This is a very big day for us and it takes a lot of work and has been very successful for us. This club is not all work. We do have several social and philanthropic events as well. Every year we organize a weekend couples ride, a family ride and a family ride-in and picnic at a members camp in the woods. We also have a ride for children who are mentally and/or physically challenged. Even when the snow is long gone, we have a family camp out and picnic for all who helped out with our activities and organizing throughout the year. As you can see we have a very active club. This takes people who are willing to participate and willing to enjoy other peoples' company. Members receive a monthly newsletter to keep them informed of the many activities and where the next meeting will be held. Our meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month; September-May.
